High Intensity Training

Whilst many of the services we provide would see you have a lesson and then continue training at home, sometimes you will need things to move forward faster.

High Intensity means that we will run a number of sessions in close proximity to one another, such as one or two sessions each day for a predetermined amount of days.

These will start with the initial consultation in which Steve will get to know you, your dog and your goal. He then will put together a program in the time you have booked and get you the best results possible.

Like all of our training, you will be a very big part of the process as Steve teaches you and your dog the target behaviours.

What may take place is: –

  • Training at our facility, in various locations on our 7 acre property.
  • Training at various locations with various distractions such as people and dogs.
  • Training, rehabilitation and habituation with and around other dogs.
  • Diagnosis and explanation of the problem.
  • The use of equipment that will help train and or rehabilitate your dog.
  • The training of foundation behaviours such as loose l;leash walking, recalls etc.
  • The building of drive and motivation.

Be pro active!

Steve has a very full calendar, so it is wise to book early so you can get a better choice of dates. Costs vary based on the amount of time you book.

Get started now and start counting down!

What to expect?

Sit down with Steve and discuss your goals in depth so that he can get the information he needs to start the training. This will be conducted at our facility in our indoor training area.

Steve will cover the program with you and explain the options and routes available to you, then it will be time to get started. You will find yourself watching Steve teach your dog the target behaviours and then teach you how to work your dog the same way.

Distractions will be added and the specific problem will be addressed.

Depending on the severity of the problem and your dogs temperament, some people report an instant success whilst others have some homework to do when they get home to finish off the program in your own home.

You will receive a program via email and of course 8 weeks support from Steve too.
